Our ‘Success’ Charity Story 2017!

Our ‘Success’ Story!

We are now pleased to announce we raised a whopping £1,232.70 for CRY our chosen charity this year and we cannot be any more proud and appreciative to all those who helped us to fulfil our goal!

We hosted our annual Charity pitch and putt event to help raise money as well as a silent auction for Cardiac Risk In The Young! CRY is a charity that is very precious to our team member Danielle, whose friend Charlotte Adams sadly passed away, aged 23.

It was our mission, as a team, to raise as much money as possible for CRY with the support of our clients along the way.

During CRY awareness week this year which ran from the 18th-26th November, Danielle was given the opportunity to attend an event at the House of Commons for the launch of a new booklet ‘Friends of Grief’. Danielle and her four friends were selected to commemorate their friend Charlotte Adams and was one of 10 stories chosen for the launch of the new booklet.

Montana Rose Brown from this year’s ‘Love Island’ was a guest speaker during the event who shared the heart-warming story of the loss of her friend Harry in 2013. Being given the platform to hear other stories gave friends, siblings and parents a chance on the evening to remember loved ones and to give advice to others learning how to deal with grief.

Danielle and her friends felt extremely grateful to be asked to attend the evening and are all proud to have been given a way to support others, whilst remembering their special friend.

We would like to thank everyone again for their continued support and we will be working towards our next goal for 2018, where we will be selecting a new charity to fundraise for and updating you all soon!

Thank you from all of the team at Success Recruit!
