Our Charity of the Year series kicks-off with SNAP Charity, based in Brentwood.
SNAP (Special Needs And Parents) are dedicated to helping families affected by disabilities, specifically parents with children aged between 0-25 years who have a special need or disability and live in Essex.
Earlier this year, we were given a tour of SNAP’s premises and were left very impressed by the quality of their facilities, especially the state of the art multi-sensory rooms. SNAP’s building is just one of many examples that demonstrate how impactful the generosity of the local community is.
Funds raised for SNAP help provide the vital services that are needed in the day-to-day running of the organisation, including their parent courses that offer advice from a team of parent advisers.
Our goal is to raise as much money for SNAP as possible! Our fundraising began with a special raffle draw during our 4th birthday celebrations, which raised £250 thanks to the kind donations made by our clients and friends. We would also like to thank the Essex Cricket Club who have been a major support and Graham Napier who joined us on the night.
Later this year, we will be hosting an afternoon of Pitch and Putt and have invited local businesses to join us. We hope to raise over £1000 from the event!
Our efforts are just a small token of thanks for all the amazing work that SNAP Charity do.
